Drawing from more than 30 years of experience in real estate, as well as a marketing degree from Syracuse, Melanie’s sharp negotiating skills have been recognized with some of the industry’s top honors. Among the most notable is the International President Elite’s Award—reserved for the top three percent of sales associates worldwide—which she was awarded four consecutive years at her previous firm.

 

Prior to her career in real estate, she also earned a degree from the Culinary Institute of America. Her roots in the service industry, which include serving as a personal chef to Malcolm Forbes, managing a highly successful restaurant, as well as owning and operating a private catering business, have made her uniquely detail-oriented and attuned to clients’ needs. There is no problem she finds too daunting to solve.

 

A property owner herself, she remains a vital part of the local community, having served as the Dobbs Ferry Chamber of Commerce president, as well as a member of several committees. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, reading, and walking along the Hudson River with her family and their English Bulldog, Daisy.
